Delete your account
You can delete your Foundry Cloud account at any time. Deleting it removes your sign-in, your handle, your token balance and your friends list from our servers, and deletes every app on your phone along with it. Any unused tokens, free or purchased, are lost.
In the app
- Open Foundry and go to Settings.
- Under Foundry Cloud, make sure you are signed in (Google or email code); the option only appears for a signed-in account.
- Tap Delete my account and confirm. Your account and its data are deleted right away.
If you never signed in, the account Foundry made for your phone holds no email, name or other personal data, only the phone identifier and your token balance. Uninstalling Foundry is enough; email us if you want that record removed as well.
By email
If you no longer have the app, email hello@simkinselgazar.com from the address you signed in with, with the subject “Delete my Foundry account”. We delete the account within 30 days and confirm by reply.
What is deleted
- Your account, and with it the email address or Google sign-in tied to it, if any.
- Your handle and display name.
- Your token balance, and any unused tokens with it.
- Your friends, pending friend requests, and any apps you shared that have not yet been picked up.
- The records of your builds (which apps were made and how many AI calls they used).
What is kept
- Records of purchases, if you bought tokens, for as long as tax and accounting law requires. They are kept without your email or handle.
- Short-lived server logs, which delete themselves automatically.
- Apps a friend already received from you. Those are their copies, on their phone.
On your phone
Deleting the account from inside the app also deletes every app you made and everything they saved. The two apps that come with Foundry are put back fresh. Foundry itself stays installed; uninstall it if you want it gone too. Deleting by email removes only the server side, so delete apps on the phone yourself by holding them.
One thing stays: the phone identifier we recorded when the free tokens were granted, so that deleting and re-creating an account cannot claim them twice.
